NSA Sweeps Volleyball Titles

On Thursday, November 27, North Star Academy sent both their A and B teams to play for the League Championship.  The road they took to the championships though looked a little different.  The B team was the number one seed all season long, but they had to beat a tough SkyView team that knocked off the number 2 seed in the semis.  On top of that, due to the size of gym NSA and SkyView decided to play at SkyView.  NSA took care of business and won the B championship.

The A team had to travel to SEC to face an undefeated Eagles team.  North Star did not win a set against SEC all season, but when it matted most NSA came up big.  NSA took home the championship by winning the first two sets.

Congratulations to the NSA A and B teams!!

Congratulations to Ben Franklin Academy for defeating North Star Academy on Thursday, October 20, 6-5.  BFA had lost twice to NSA in the regular season, but got revenge when it mattered most.  Congratulations!!

A Champion Crowned

Southeast Christian came out on top at Saturday’s League Tournament held at Sky View Academy.  Southeast Christian beat Littleton Prep and Platte River Academy to make it to the Championship game.  There they faced a North Star Academy team that had to beat Sky View and Ben Franklin to punch their ticket.  Southeast and North Star split their season series, both teams winning on the road, but Southeast proved to be too much.  After a slow first quarter for both teams, Southeast took control and never looked back.  They were up 13-3 at half and ended up winning 28-12.  Congratulations to the Southeast Christian Boys Basketball team on becoming Front Range Charter League Champs!
